Florida State is No. 1 in Both Polls

You can only truly believe that if you play the usual "Bama wasn't interested because it wasn't the championship" game that people seem to play when Alabama loses in a non-title bowl game. Oklahoma made it two losses to end the year for Alabama last season.

I do, I saw them play multiple games and I've seen them let down before. It was disappointing.

Surely that's the only reason an SEC juggernaut loses a big game.:lol2:

It shouldn't amaze me but it does that Bama continually gets the hype because of their previous success but when you mention FSU's success and last season you get the whole "it's not 2013" argument. For Bama it ain't 2012 anymore but let's keep pumping them up from 2012.

I don't get it.

True. I just wish folks would admit their bias is as bad as the media's.

Two way street.

Two way street.

How so? When the SEC is clearly above everyone else and should have Bama/LSU in the title game I admit it. When the SEC isn't clearly above everyone else and should currently only have one team in the Final Four I admit it. If FSU loses to Florida I won't have any issue with FSU not being in the Final Four. But if we're going to be fair about it, Florida is from the SEC so if FSU's only loss is to an SEC team then they should have every right to remain in the Final Four shouldn't they?

I love these threads.

Tell me this. Why did I find myself rooting for FSU the other night? Has the mountain of disdain finally spilled over in to me rooting for them?

Marshall is undefeated. Why aren't they in the top 4?

I know what you mean, especially after that big signature win over Ohio State early in the season. Oops...I misread that, it was really Ohio.

Come on man...is Marshall in a power conference? VoR asked the same thing already anyways. That's a silly comparison.

Yeah mighty SEC representative UK whipped them too.

It is a joke to have 7 teams from the SEC in the Top 20 every week and every year.

PP92 is 100% right on this issue.

As I expected, Alabama at #1, Oregon at #2, FSU at #3 in the CFP ranks.
