It's exactly the way I see it. I'd flip Oregon and FSU though.

Yeah mighty SEC representative UK whipped them too.

It is a joke to have 7 teams from the SEC in the Top 20 every week and every year.

PP92 is 100% right on this issue.

So they should stop putting the top teams in the top 20? That makes sense.

Come on man...is Marshall in a power conference? VoR asked the same thing already anyways. That's a silly comparison.

No it's not. It's a rhetorical question to show that schedules matter and simply being in the power 5 doesn't mean your schedule is equal to all other power 5 schedules. You cannot get a pass just because you can check the "power 5" box.

So if we agree that Marshall can't be discussed despite being undefeated then we can all admit that FSU's schedule hurts them.

Can OSU make the top 4 if the current top 4 win out? Do they have to manhandle Wisconsin to get the bump?

Can they get a bump by beating a team that lost to the worst team in the SEC West?

No easy answer.

Big 10 Championship game. Not sure. Indy?

The irony is that FSU by the CFP rankings still has two wins over top 25 teams. Alabama has one (a big one). MSU has one (a not so big one).

By resume, the team that should be #1 is actually Oregon.

Where is the OSU/Wisconsin game?

Indianapolis, IN.

We know FSU's schedule hurts them. The false belief that the only good football is played in the SEC is what drives this though and IMO that's weak. And if you can't get a pass for being a Power 5 conference then tell people to quit saying Power 5 conferences. I've seen some "top" SEC teams play some crappy football this year.

Bama at one is correct

Oregon two is correct

Fl State by default is correct at three

Miss St at 4 is a joke.

TCU ahead of Baylor is Joke #2

No two loss team deserves to be in the top ten

Especially if they are third in their own conference.

If all of the top 7 win out, I would not like to be on that committee. Assuming Bama, Oregon and FSU are safely in in that scenario, the 4th spot is a nightmare. We are splitting hairs amongst TCU, Miss St., OSU and Baylor. I like OSU because that would mean they have to beat Wisconsin on a neutral site. Also, Miss St. has only 1 top 25 win right now with LSU and A&M moving out of the top 25. But it would also mean that Miss St. beat Ole Miss.

The bottom line is that you can make a case for or against ALL of these 4 teams. I still think we may still see some upsets that make the committee decisions easier. Bama/AUB, Miss St./Ole Miss, FSU/Fla, OSU/Wisc...all are potentially interesting games. I would also not be shocked if Texas gave TCU a decent game as well (Texas has to hate seeing other Texas schools like TCU and Baylor have all the state bragging rights)...

LOL.....Florida State would be a push or underdog against Ole Miss, Georgia, Auburn, TCU AND OSU.....

Baylor, Oregon, Miss. St., and Bama would all be favorites.

Thanks. At Madison, I think OSU loses. I'm not sure what will happen on a neutral field. Should be a good game.

That's fine. They suck against the spread this year.
