The SEC was great long before Florida ever was.

That would be a terrible hire. May work out, but I don't think Foley or Florida is in the position to gamble.

SEC ran through Alabama for a lot of years. Georgia and Tennessee were players as well. Auburn with Bo, but it was Alabama's league for a long time in the 70's and into the 80's. Everyone else played for second place, a lot.

The buyout size is due to the length of the contract he signed. I think it is through 2018 or 2019.
