November 27, 201411 yr According to one report Hugh Freeze has been offered the job. That would be a terrible hire. May work out, but I don't think Foley or Florida is in the position to gamble.

Not everybody has the vision, and ability to recognize talent that you have. Perhaps you'll be able to parlay that into an AD job at a major conference one of these days. I wish you luck.

I wish you luck. Just giving my opinion big guy. Nothing more, nothing less. Never said Freeze wasn't good. Just don't think UF and especially Foley can afford to take a risk on a relative unknown. Thanks for your vote of confidence though. I'll be sure to list you on a reference when I apply for an AD job in the SEC. I'm sure just having you on there will be enough to make me a shoe-in, being as you're the BGP post police. Good grief:rolleyes:.

Did I say that you were wrong? Just listed reasons why I thought Holliday was a worthy under the radar candidate if they struck out on some of the higher names. Unless, you have a vested interest in Holiday not becoming the HC at UF, or you're an under the radar candidate that my endorsement on a message board in KY would influence the hire of Holliday over you, I don't see how any of that could be viewed as a shot.

November 27, 201411 yr Holliday would be the best under the radar coach they could get IMO. He's extremely connected and would recruit the heck out of Florida. He would get a great coaching staff together. He would be the hire that wouldn't excite UF fans but in 2 or 3 years he'd have a Huge Freeze type effect, only with more success. He's a proven coach, proven recruiter, and has huge ties to Florida schools. Cato, Jean-Louis, and Grooms were all guys good enough to go to big 3 schools, but couldn't for various reasons. They're at Marshall. That says alot about Doc Holliday. This is my quote. Unless, your or I can't read I don't see anything in there about vision, my superiority to anyone, or anything else. How about you just admit that I didn't take a shot at you and you just read my post wrong. Or you got it mixed up with someone else. You want to take a shot at my posts that's fine, but don't act like I started it if that's the only quote I've had going to you in the recent past.
