OK, educate me. After listening to the Lville sports talk radio this morning, they were clamoring about UK giving back the allotment of UL tickets early this season or summer for some reason. I didn't catch all of it, and maybe it's been covered in here somewhere before, what is the deal with that if anyone knows?

Every team gets an allotment...as I'm sure you are aware...well, before the season even started, UK returned a large % of their allotment, because they said, they didn't sell. You can read into it, anyway you like, but it does sound like they had no confidence they'd win.

That said, UK not giving him a look when he appeared to be open to the job, is the reason why I said he will beat UK by as many as possible.

 

Weren't there rumors around that time frame that the SEC AD's, not thrilled with Bobby lying to the Arkasas AD, made an under the table agreement that none would hire Petrino? Assuming those rumors are true and Bobby was aware of them, that should have made UK's not extending an interest towards him more understandable I would guess.

They've moved on to hoops obviously, and I wonder had the game been at the first of the year if they'd have done the same. And I doubt that .
