He saw her like the rest of the guys in the school, as the hot gym teacher. He just had the chance to hit the sheets 30 times and took it. The fact is she IS in a position of authority, and she is entrusted with the care of the young men and women that is placed in her care. Her actions are a violation of that trust that the public (and his parents) have placed on her, and that she accepted when she took the job.

Obviously she should not have slept with him, but I doubt the scars will run deeper than the lad expecting a lot more from the girls his own age now that he's back to reality...
October 24, 201412 yr When I was a senior in high school, we had a first year teacher who was also a former Miss Murray State University winner. She was much discussed and would have had numerous volunteers to allow her to abuse her postion of authority on them. This kid is not a victum but rather a very willing participat, and I'd reckon that just about any other male in the school would have gladly taken his place. Obiously she will be punished for this (And should be), but let's not make it something that it is not. Her position or any power weilded over this student is not the reason that he said yes.

Judging by the comments in this thread the results would be the same for most adult men as well. That isn't the point.

If SHE can't handle a position of authority, then she SHOULDN'T be in it. She should have taken the lead and said "Johnny I am your teacher...I expect to NEVER hear you talk like this again or I will have to go to the principle". Problem solved and she still has her job and none of us ever know what she looks like.

If my 16 year old daughter is having sex, I'm going to be equally disappointed regardless of who the other person is. That's ridiculous. It's just not reality. You'll figure that out when you become a parent. I'm not even a parent and I think that's asinine. If my child is 16 and sleeping with a 45 year old, I'm significantly more concerned and upset than if I find out her and her 19 year old boyfriend decided to do the dirty.
