I've been known to read into things way too much, but this doesn't sound good:

I don't know squat about this situation, or the physical evidence or wounds to the woman, but I HATE how we are so quick to drag a man's name through mud before he's convicted of a crime like this. Women falsely accuse men of abuse, assault, rape, etc. more than I think some people are aware. A girl feels spurned, or embarassed, or used, etc. and all of a sudden she cries rape or foul. I'm not saying that's how this went down...a first degree rape charge leads me to believe the police have some pretty solid evidence, but I'll wait to publicly hang this guy until facts come out.

The safety who was in the DUI that almost killed, what ended up being the outcome with that? Then yes, the gun incident was taken far far to lightly in this day and age. We will see what happens with Tubb.

I hear what you're saying and I definitely agree, but being accused of rape, and being arrested for First Degree Rape are different, IMO. The police must have some pretty significant evidence or I don't think he would have been arrested on that charge.

Will the fact that Tubman is 20 years old hurt or help him in this matter----or have no effect...or too early to tell?
