October 10, 201412 yr I was obviously speaking in hypothetical terms, and yes, it's a reach. But some people act as if they shouldn't have even been suspended. And some people act like Stoops should have kicked them off the team and that he is soft on discipline because of it.
October 10, 201412 yr If the cops showed up and saw those four with what they thought were guns and fired at them, and your child/friend/spouse was killed by a stray bullet, how would you feel about those four? I have a child at UK, so I feel fairly qualified to play this game. If that had happened of course I would feel differently, I actually surprised someone would have to ask. But that's not what happened and the incident was dealt with appropriately. If someone gets a speeding ticket should we send them to prison because they could have killed someone? The punishment needs to fit the crime and in this case it did, period, end of story.

Deuce, I didn't see this post before I posted the above. I agree they should have been suspended but 1 game was appropriate. I think we are on the same page.
