So now you are trying to defend everyone on assistance? I thought you were just mad people we making fun of her weight. Which is it? I see maybe one post that is making generalizations. Plus yours for assuming we are lumping everyone in the same boat as her.

Get out of the house more often. Trust me it's more than one extreme case.

I am old and fat, but guess what, I know why I am old and fat. I eat too much junk and don't exercise enough. No one to blame but myself. The story isn't she's fat, the story is she blames the government and she didn't educate herself.

 

Highlands opted out of the lunch program because they could afford it and put it back on the parents/school to educate the kids, not government regulations.

She is making the lifestyle choice to purchase and feed herself and her family with that food. That is what people are getting on about.

 

She is making the excuses as to why she (and likely her children) can not become more fit and active. That is also what people are getting on about.

She needs to decrease her caloric intake and increase her metabolic output. And stop blaming others for being fat.

 

I was fat once. I wouldn't blame anyone but myself. I like the way that I look now (not being conceded), and I take blame for that as well.
