September 21, 201412 yr The Big Ten is one huge suckfest. Having said that, Missouri had no reason being ranked and that was a terrible loss. Indiana just lost to Bowling Green last week.

As a conference, the Kentucky of the Big Ten winning on the road at a ranked SEC school is inexcusable. What say you, conference apologists? And if this game proves nothing else, it proves that cheering for the conference over your specific team is freakin' dumb. Not sure what to do with this. First, who ever cheers for a conference over their own team? The Big 10 is just plain bad. No way around it, the conference is brutal. All the numbers keep saying so. Did Ohio State really lose to VPI? East Carolina just called and said that is a bad loss.

While cheering for conference over your team wasn't totally correct on my part, I will say that with that stupid S-E-C chant it at least seems like UK fans cheer more for the conference than anything because, well, UK traditionally has nothing else in FB to cheer for.
September 21, 201412 yr Author That ranked SEC school is AT BEST #8 in the conference. But it is disappointing that a school in the bottom half of the SEC lost to a school in the bottom half of the B1G. Then why was Mizzou ranked if they're as terrible as you suggest?

Come tournament time in basketball you will find a lot of Sec teams rooting in other Sec teams to show how good their conference is in their minds compared to other conferences and it happens the same way with other fans of other schools in other conferences too. To think it doesn't happen as you say is simply not true.

That means you don't cheer for them "when they're not playing us."
September 21, 201412 yr Duke has been good of late. Virginia hadn't won a conference game in 2 years. I like Dukes program right now. The problem is the Duke fans do not like Duke football, right now.
