This was the energy drink before there were energy drinks. I can't recall exactly what it tastes like but I'm pretty sure it's nasty.

Surge was ahead of it's time.

To me it's a hybrid between an energy drink and Mountain Dew.

Probably the most God-awful tasting "beverage" ever created. Someone at Coca-Cola needs to be fired for thinking this is a good idea. :lol2:

I drank some the first time around but no way now. I believe they had surge in the vending machine at the Ft Thomas armory. I killed Mt Dew back in the day I took a drink a few years ago and was so sweet tasting I spit half out. Funny how your taste changes as you grow up.

Surge has a cult following. Some people have paid crazy amounts for bottles and cans of it on ebay. In college I worked with a girl who was obsessed with it. Would buy it on ebay, buy shirts of it, etc :lol2:

Mt. Dew is okay, Surge was/is better, but my go to lately for a "kick" has been Ski.

Can Jolt be far behind?
