Just why are you all jacked up about it so much anyway? It's a whole whopping three hours earlier than the 1pm start time that was planned. A Sat 1pm start time, that has been the start time between CCH and their N Ky opponents since football started.

 

The point is not that Cov Cath would object to a 10 am start, but to giving home field to Boone the night before. They do not want to give up the gate and concession revenue.

Could you imagine Boone leading at halftime and the refs suspending the game due to heat? That would get under the skin of the Cov Cath faithful!

 

Tell me any school in America (high school, college, prep school, anyone) that plays a varsity, or above, game at 10am and I will let it go.

I did, now I'm wondering if Norwich and CovCath have ever played? Maybe they should.

Cov. Cath. may have had a smidge of success playing on Saturdays over the years. My guesses is they wouldn't trade those state championships for the Friday night traditions (and second round losses) of Rams favorite team.
