Cubbies at Redlegs (April 28-30)

I thought I already saw they are starting Simon tomorrow and pushing Soft C back a day.

I think that's the smart move. The way Simon's been pitching, and the delay in Latos coming back...I wouldn't want to mess that up too much.

Schumaker went 3-4 for the Bats tonight.

I think once he's in the fold and Meso is back, this is the best bench the Reds have had. Between Pena, Heisey, Schumaker, and even Bernenwhatshisname, not terrible compared to what's been here.

Rain delays are the absolute worst. Not easy on the vendors who aren't even allowed in the stadium.

Have they called it for good? I've almost got the Latos-Grande interview memorized, right down to the charming story about Stormy.

Exaxctly, George Grande is like Vanilla Pudding, it's OK at first, then it gets real old, real quick. He's a complete cartoon character at this point.

You had access to gallons of beer. What's the problem?

If only that were true. We are stuck in the parking garage until the powers that be allow us in the door or they tell us we won't be working. If the tarp is on the field, we stand outside and wait. So no access to any beer for me haha!

Hope you get tonight in.

Hamilton 8, Votto 3, Phillips 4, Bruce 9, Frazier 5, Ludwick 7, Pena 2, Cozart 6, Simon 1

Radar looks like they may get it in, may have a slight delay though. Seems like the storm should be gone by about 7:30ish last I checked.

Sounds like an 8-3 win for the Reds!

Might have a tough time getting this one in too.

I'm sure hoping it misses us, but looks like its going to hit about 6:15 and as UKMF said, maybe stay until about 7:30. I bet the Reds still get their game in tonight, but weather wont' be great for MJ. A common trend throughout April home games this year.

So what is the concession of choice, for fans, on nights like tonight? Or does everything just drop completely?

I know a guy that went to the Business Day special this year that was delayed by 3 hours and 40 minutes or something by rain. And he was in the 4192 room thing where you can eat everything since it is included in the ticket price. He thinks he gained 10 pounds that day.
