April 28, 201412 yr On a side note, in the car last night I listened to the yahoos on 700 talk for about 15 minutes about what the Reds need to do to 'fix it' before it's too late. I turned it off after I heard "this is desperation time for the Reds" and a caller followed up and said that we need to trade Votto, Bruce, and Phillips for more hitters that 'better fit the system.' I'm sorry, I didn't know there was a system for baseball. And nearly as bad was hearing the actually host talk about how we need to trade Cueto while he's hot for 2 good starting bats. When asked who, the Diamondbacks were brought up because they have a terrible ERA and high team BA. Someone find me two guys on that roster you want to trade Cueto for... It's a shame those guys get paid to hear themselves say stupid things...
