About what it looked like. LOL

I always wondered how long it took. An hour is my answer. No trimming or anything else. Amazing that the bottom of the yard (normally the swamp) was dry and the hill was soaking wet. I'm thinking the neighbor at the top of the street moved some dirt and it may have changed the water run off direction?

In honor of the misery that is getslow's birthday I'll also be starting my mowing spree today.

My lawn guy comes every Wednesday, as he does every week, 52 weeks a year. So today worked out nice for GS's birthday celebration.

Still haven't done the first mow. Not much growth. Note to self: Remember again this year to NOT fertilize in the Fall so that mowing is delayed in the Spring.

I just got the 1st mow of the year done yesterday. 3 different days of partial mowing while waiting for areas to dry enough. A little over 5 acres! Sheesh.

I knocked out my first mow Friday night (3 acres). I was surprised the grass wasn't higher than it was and I was thankful for that. My hog is a 54" Cub Cadet zero turn with steering wheel. Best mower I've ever had.

I had to pick between cutting my grass and finishing my taxes. I chose the latter (probably a good idea). So when is my next chance for mowing? My yard sticks out like a sore thumb next to those on either side of me.

Not sure I've ever mowed before the last snow of the year. This year is a first.
