March 13, 201412 yr ^Hawaii? Why would anyone not want to go there? Too long a trip to go to a beach that I can go to in Fla or on the east coast. Plus I hear it is really expensive. Only thing I would even want to see is Pearl Harbor Memorial.

Flight Time from Lexington, KY to Jerusalem, Israel Israel is way different than Hawii. Where else can I go to see the history of the Bible. Hawaii is just a beach to me. Im sure its pretty, but oh well.

Prison or Jail Don't sell Hawaii short - Diamond Head, USS Arizona and Perl Harbor for WII history and Haleakala sun rise make it more than beaches. South America - Carnival in Rio would be worth the trip.

The beaches in Florida are not in the same realm as the beaches in Hawaii, or anywhere on the continental US.
March 13, 201412 yr I'd love to see Hawaii. But before I made that trip, I'd be tickled to see San Diego. We nearly went out there on an AAU trip, never materialized.
March 13, 201412 yr ^I've never been to the West Coast, but the fiancée has family in both San Diego and LA, so as soon as we're married, we have free lodging there. We'll be making yearly trips. :banana:

March 13, 201412 yr I'm with you on this...we went with a group of about 5 couples and rented a huge cabin. Left the kids at home and acted like we were on spring break again. I have gone twice like this and haven't left the cabin yet. Sat in the hot tub, sat on the deck, sat on the couch, basically sat around drinking and having a good time while enjoying a fire, hot tub, and awesome view. It will probably be considered lame by some, but I think its where I'll have my bachelor party. Sitting around in the cabin with my best buddies, drinking gobs of beer, shooting pool, playing the Pac-Man machine, making fun of each other and a trip to the kareokee bar.
