Gotcha....Yeah, outside of Australia, I can't think of anywhere outside of Europe I'd like to go.

 

I'm always amazed when I see 150 year old buildings in the US. Couldn't imagine seeing some of the old buildings and ruins in Europe.

 

Short of electronics and vehicles, you can have the Asian countries.

I should've said there's no chance of me going out of the country to the North, South or West. Would love to get over into Europe.

I would love to know of any advice anyone has about Italy or France. I want to surprise my wife with a trip to one of those places. She is Italian and those are 2 places she has always wanted to go.

Italy and the Greek Isles are at the top of my list. Can only imagine the scenery throughout the Italian countryside.

What popular destination do you have no desire to visit?

 

Las Vegas tops the list for me. I just don't have any urge to see it. Give me a riverbank and a tent any day over Vegas.

15 of us went out to Vegas about 5 years back for a 3 night, 4 day bachelor party.

 

1) Nobody died.

2) Nobody caught a 'friend' they couldn't get rid of

3) No kids were had (not that anybody knows of). lol

 

Had we been smart, we would have filmed the trip and it could have been the original "Hangover", but titled "HangoverS" haha

As far as Gatlinburg goes. I've been there many times. It's much more enjoyable for me to stay in a cabin for the majority of the trip than around all those people at the shops and such.

 

Short of a sporting event, any time there are more than 1,000 people in a facility, I'm out. Disneyland was the worst week of my life. Kids only semi-enjoyed it too. (Had nothing to do with me ready to commit a crime to spend the rest of the week in jail)

Went to Rome back in Sept. Was awesome, wish we would've had more time. You can literally walk around for days and only see a fraction of it. Very very cool place. Never been to France, no real desire to go. We also went to Germany after we left Rome for a few days, would go back in a heart beat.

Disney is probably at the top of my list. Makes me sick to even think about going.

My daughter tells me she was cheated out of a childhood because I never took her to Disneyworld. I just tell her my mom never took me and I turned out fine! :sssh:
