I have not seen an updated list. What jibs from this list have been filled?

N. Hardin, Fairdale, Pendleton and Valley have all been filled. Maybe others but I am not for sure.

Does anyone know what has happened at Bullitt East?

Coach Blackburn is staying on so the job isn't open is what I am hearing.

You never hear much about them but back in the '70s UK had 2 or 3 players that were from Union. I think Fred Cowan was a Union graduate as was Larry Johnson.

About 700 kids. Middle of the road usually at best in boys basketball. Hard for them to compete with the Madisonville schools, Henderson and Christian counties and Hopkinsville. Every once in a while might get a player or two and make some noise, but nothing sustained.

Mark Starns is leaving for Union County...

Mark Starns isn't going if they aren't going to be pretty good.

12-20 last year which put them right in the middle of the pack in 2nd region, looks like they lose 6 seniors. Christian County had a horrible year and finished below them, I wouldn't expect for that to happen most years. Teams above them they will have a hard time jumping over, and a normal Christian County season probably puts them ahead of them as well. I don't see it, but then again it's not like I follow them all that closely. I will have to check with my 2nd region contact and see what he has to say about them, he's usually pretty in the know.

The stats say not good, but Starns usually ends up with winners. Starns was at Henderson County at one point earlier in his career. Maybe he or his family is from that area?
