What do you mean? Why would you say that?

 

I think there would probably be some "pressure" there but not sure about parental pressure??? More likely "peer pressure." Lots of success since the merger at that school in almost all other sports: girls basketball, softball, baseball, track, and boys and girls soccer. Football had past success and now seems to be on solid ground again and building. When you are in that type of atmosphere, there has to be some "pressure" due to the performance expectations. I wouldn't expect that to scare away a confident coach. Instead, I'd think it would attract them.

 

 

Fair or not, true or not but Mercer County's parents have a reputation of running off Marty Jaggers, Bill Mason, Nelson Cundiff and I have heard complaints from some parents about Brian Britt as well along with some parents allegedly going to the administration to voice their concerns about Brian Britt. We all know it wasn't a secret that Britt's job this season hinged on the team's postseason success and lack of an appearance in the regional tournament made it much cleaner to get rid of him. Hopefully Josh Cook can perform up to expectations and he is given an opportunity to grow at Mercer County after Will Hager is gone. I'm glad Mercer County found a coach and will leave ours alone now.

Stick to what you are an expert on that being Boyle co. Pretty positive none of the 3 above were parent issues. Did you ever see a Mason coached team at MC? Didn't take a genius to figure out what to do with that situation. There weren't as many people at MC that wanted Adams as you guys think.

Who ran French and Pardue off. I know it was different because it was BC losing games. You had a middle school basketball team go undefeated and had parents wanting that coach gone. Come on man watch the stones while living in that glass house. I wish we have had as much success in basketball as Boyle has had lately, oh wait.....

Not sure what middle school coach you're talking about. That one is new to me but based on what I went through with just one middle school parent this season nothing surprises me at the middle school level. Nothing at all.

 

I call it like I see it and I speak on what I know and can confirm. I throw stones and boulders and work at a glass factory. I can make new windows for my glass house.

District championships and regional appearances says it all and that is all I needed to hear. Neither school has had any real success. I'm not saying mercer has had success but please don't try to tell me Boyle has because of regional appearances. To me that is not something to brag about
