The stats say not good, but Starns usually ends up with winners. Starns was at Henderson County at one point earlier in his career. Maybe he or his family is from that area?

He's a Lexington native.

His wife works in Henderson and never went with him to Fleming County.

That is the reason. Union will be average at best

Makes sense.

Danny Edelen didn't even interview.

Any news on South Warren? One of the best positions in the State!

Have they closed the application process yet or narrowed down their pool of candidates???

I think you're overstating it just a bit. While most things in your previous post are true about South Warren, they are still in the shadow of Bowling Green and Warren Central. You're talking about two teams that have won every title but one since Russellville won in 2001. One of those two teams has won every district title since 1997 and every region title game has featured at least one of them every year since 2001, and they both made the region finals six times in that span. I think South Warren can break through to at least make region, but let's not get too far ahead of ourselves in calling it one of the best positions when they face all those challenges. Greenwood had many of those same advantages when they first opened and burned bright in Years 4-6 before fading badly for many, many years.

DragonFire I may have not been as exact as I needed to be in my previous statement.... I meant that it is one of the best jobs that are available in the State... Unless I am missing something, the other schools you mentioned do not have open positions...

Gotcha. I think that was it, I was thinking you were touting it as one of the best jobs in the state regardless of availability. It definitely has its advantages as a currently open opportunity over others that are open.
