March 18, 201412 yr Why does a pilot even have the option of turning off the radar that can track them? Its 2014 and we cant find a plane, actually its 2014 and a LOT of countries together cant find this plane? They shut them off on the ground and when in controlled airspace.

Southern Indian Ocean 1,400 miles west of Australia; satellite images showing objects that could be from the flight; Australian Air Force on it's way to the area where the objects were seen; Australian Prime Minister reported this to Parliament.
