January 20, 201412 yr Author I'm not going to harp on anyone who has a problem with it, but at the end of the day, I agree with a lot of what people have said here in support of Sherman. It was immediately after the game so you're going to get a charged response. Guess what, that's why they interview them after the game, HOPING to get an unvarnished response. I don't always love the content, but I always respect when someone gives you a real answer rather than the same boring company line that makes your eyes want to roll up into your head. I burst out laughing when it happened. I did feel for Erin Andrews - I've scarcely seen someone look more terrified while conducting an interview!
January 20, 201412 yr Author ... One of my faves. Now all we need is a long lost photo of his infamous "grab" towards Spike Lee!
January 20, 201412 yr Sherman penned some thoughts after the game. I already had no issue with what he did or him, but after reading this, I'm 100% a Sherman fan.
January 20, 201412 yr Sherman penned some thoughts after the game. http://twitter.com/RobertKlemko/status/425301837315854336 Great read. So true, we can't know a person's true character by something they say in the heat of the moment.
January 20, 201412 yr I burst out laughing when it happened. I did feel for Erin Andrews - I've scarcely seen someone look more terrified while conducting an interview! :lol2: I did too. And then pressed Rewind on the DVR. Twice.
January 20, 201412 yr I burst out laughing when it happened. I did feel for Erin Andrews - I've scarcely seen someone look more terrified while conducting an interview! I didn't think she looked terrified. She looked annoyed. I don't know why, either. The interview was priceless. I just hope Sherman knows his "roll" next time.
January 20, 201412 yr I guess Keyshawn and Cris Carter called Baldwin & Tate appetizers instead of the main course on one of the 2,000 NFL centric shows on ESPN that essentially reiterate the same points. After the game, Baldwin made some remarks about the two and said they were some tasty appetizers or something.. I don't remember all of it. Cris Carter was on Mike & Mike this morning and he basically said "Shut up, I'm in the Hall of Fame. My credentials speak for myself". I don't remember all the details as I was half asleep and I can't seem to locate audio or video. Hell, I may be making it al up. In short Carter and Key were saying that Baldwin and Tate are Seattle's 3rd and 4th receivers. His reply to Baldwin this morning is that he is sticking by his position and if it weren't true the Seahawks would not have inked Harvin and Rice to be their go to guys. He also called out Baldwin et al. that always say they pay no attention to these centric shows yet always they are compelled to respond. I agree with Carter's position on Baldwin. Baldwin did ball though yesterday.
January 20, 201412 yr It's just silly to me. As a society, we want to watch these guys literally try to rip each others heads off during the game, but then sound like they just left boarding school right after the game? Come on now... :lol2: Deuce I know you know the new rules. Stay away from the head. LOL
January 20, 201412 yr Deuce I know you know the new rules. Stay away from the head. LOL Yeah but that's what the League wants, not us fans.
January 20, 201412 yr For those saying that most of the haters are UK fans and white. Duh. That's what the majority of this board is. That's like saying most of the contestants on The Biggest Loser are people who overeat and don't exercise. I took it as it meaning the entire landscape of social media not just BGP. Facebook and twitter exploded last night. I didn't see more than 5 black people upset in the slightest about Richard Sherman. Just sayin'.
