Tim Brown has awesome stats also and I can still name about 10-15 guys I would take before him. Hell, I'd take CC before Brown.

Not really sure how he owes anything to Moss. You could even argue that his stats might have been better without playing with Moss. Dude is top 10 in receptions, yards, and TD's. If that won't get you in the Hall of Fame than Canton should be a very lonely place.

Because Moss took a ton of the defensive attention when teams played the Vikings. As a result Carter was single covered and allowed to go to work. Plus he was at the end of his career. He was the ultimate possession receiver when he played with Moss and he moved the chains consistently. He wasn't the #1 receiver and was the 3rd option on offense behind Moss and Robert Smith. These things were heavily discussed when Carter was still shining at 35 years old. Michael Irvin got the sympathy vote to get in. Had he not broke his neck who knows what his numbers would have looked like.
