January 20, 201412 yr I have to completely disagree with this. The man had 756 recptions, 9,436 yards, and 89 TD before Randy Moss even entered the league. They only played together 4 years. His best seasons were before Moss. BOOM! :lol2: :popcorn:

It is unfortunate that the interception itself has been lost in the shuffle because had he not been there to get the ball SF would have had more chances at the end zone.

You see it everyday in the NFL.

It honestly didn't take a lot of effort, but kudos to him for making the play and even more for the other guy for being in the right spot after the tip.

They had just completed an 11 yard pass in the middle of the field. They hurried (ish) up to the line to get another snap off without using either of their two remaining timeouts. Was their time to call in a play from the sideline or did Kaepernick call it?

January 20, 201412 yr Author was that his only option? It's Kaepernick. Options beyond the first one rarely enter the equation for him. Just re-watched the play. Kaepernick looked right at the snap and nowhere else. No one else that I would have called necessarily open, but then neither was Crabtree. I often think Kaepernick likewise locks in too much on Boldin, but if they were going to look to a receiver there, I have a hard time understanding why it wasn't Boldin as his first choice. Especially since, you know, Sherman.
January 20, 201412 yr was that his only option? I don't know what his options were. I know it was a bad idea to go to the end zone there. They should have called a running a play or a short pass, IMO.
