They still have Don Pablo's? They closed all of them down here, and I know they closed the one on Tiedeman Road at 480 in Cleveland.

Well, they started to close it after it started to fall into the Ohio River. It was funny too; because we had eaten there a few days before the city "condemned" the place. As we were going in, they had one corner of their overhanging porch roped off with yellow police tape. We asked what was wrong (although a big crack had been visible for years) and the girl said they were just having one of the benches repaired. But oddly enough, they also had the main exit propped open with chairs -- just in case, I guess. The crumbling support columns were repaired and they were "un-condemned" about a week later.

I think there is another Don Pablo's up in the northern part of town as well.

Cleveland, Ohio?

Took the tribe to Red Lobster on Dream Street in Florence to use a Gift Card I received for Christmas. It has been a while since I have eaten there. We arrived at about 4:15 (to beat the Saturday evening dinner crowd). Mob scene. Like the poor souls pulling on the locked gate to get out of steerage after the M/V Titanic hit the iceberg or the last helicopter off the US Embassy roof in Saigon with the VC rolling into town. When we were finally seated, I had rainbow trout. The food was…not good. And pretty expensive. Red Lobster is on the stoning pile.

There's one in The Rookwood Commons up near Madison Rd.

BBQ Porkchops and baked potatoes with shredded colby jack cheese. I ate like a rabbit for lunch so I could go "large" for dinner!

Si. Well, Brooklyn, Ohio. There used to be one in front of the Extended Stay America right at the Tiedeman Road exit.

Last time I was up there, it was closed.

Come to think of it, I think I skipped dinner yesterday. Had lunch at Barleycorns than took a nap. (jet lag from my return from Hong Kong). Headed to a 50th anniversary party in the evening and snacked a bit.

I may have to stop by Findlay market today since weather is nice enough to try out my new grill.

Red Slobster... yuck!!

Shrimp Stir Fry with Fried Rice I made for the two of us.

That sounds delicious. I've been craving some shrimp lately.

We had chili tonight.

I made some chili last night, with ground turkey instead of beef. Taste just as good. Used dad's recipe.
