Final

Great game! Congrats to NCC!

Wow! Had to be the best game of the night. This is one of those where it is a shame a team has to lose. Congrats 'breds!

Congrats Breds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats to NCC on the win...

I also have to give major credit to Coach Robbie Lucus and the Somerset Jumpers...What a game brother...:ylsuper:

I feel for the Somerset kicker. Keep your head up young man.

This one is gonna be a long drive home for the Somerset faithful. 2 turnovers, 4 or 5 personal foul penalty's, a blocked extra point and a missed extra point.

Agree. Great game by both teams.

Congrats to Breds and a heartbreaker for the Briars. Fun game to watch. Both teams left it all on the turf.

WOW! Just WOW! I watched this game on iHigh and it was awesome!

NewCath had a chance to put it away and let emotions boil over. The personal foul took away a chance to go up 21-6. I liked 75 for the Briars. However, his extra curriculars killed Somerset's defense. I will say that if 83 was the best receiver that I have seen this year. Nice meeting AverageJoe and JumperDad. Safe travels. Special teams were the name of the game. I feel terrible for Somerset's kicker. NewCath blocked one kick, pressured 4and had to be in their head.

Just got home and can feel my legs again. First thanks to Lawnboy for setting up a dinner. Very nice to meet JumperDad and AverageJoe. I agree with mex 83 for the jumpers is really really good. Fast makes great down field moves. 75 played the dirtiest half of football I have seen in a long time. Not just on the field but spending time yelling at NewCath cheerleaders and students. NewCath needs to tackle much better in the open field. They played a solid game tonight and wish them the best next week.

LB also has a wonderful picture from tonight that should be new front page for BGP or a "write a caption" thread

Well I said it in the prediction thread....For the Breds to advance they needed to play turnover free ball and cut down on the penalties, they didn't have any turnovers. But for the love of god the penalties were a killer.

One of the best games I've seen, did the Somerset players have Vaseline all over them :idunno: they kept escaping the grasp of the Breds all night it seemed. I truly feel bad for the Somerset kicker, hold your head up son, you are not to blame for this outcome. The Breds did just enough to win this one, and if they expect to win next week they better learn how to defend the pass, however Somerset ran some very nice routes and Castle Hatcher throws a nice ball. Cam Cheuvront of Somerset was elusive to say the least, and is unbelievably quick. :ylsuper:

Jack Sutkamp was all over the place tonight on the "D", and made some hellacious hits. Special teams play by the Breds was real good, especially KO returns.

Way to go breds I knew it would be a tight one.
