Who was the better High School receiver for Somerset? John Cole or Cam Cheuvront?

 

I think Cheuvront is more elusive but Cole had hands like glue.

I'd have to go with Cole. I say this mainly because he was a little more physically ready to play early. He was a bigger party of the offense his freshman and sophomore seasons and thus had better numbers. If you go strictly by their senior seasons it is closer than people think but I still give a slight nod to Cole. He was just a little bit stronger and bigger.

I'd go with Cole also, he was as elusive as Cam and had the best hands on a HS WR I've ever seen. That said Cam had one of the best nights Friday night I've seen.

I thought it was crazy how many people were on the sidelines for Newcath, as far as fans. Is there a rule against who can or can not be on the sideline? I would think it should be players and coaches or just people that are involved with the team. There should be no fans aloud on the sideline. There were a couple times where I saw some of the guys actually on the field of play rooting for the kids. I think its great that they love the game that much but fans should not be aloud on the sideline. This could affect the other team and no one knows what is being said. There was one time where the ref had to warm them to get back. I think it just looks unprofessional with a bunch of dads yelling on the sidelines. If your going to stand over there then be quiet or go up in the stands....JMO

Of course when comparing the two you have to keep in mind that Cole played with more veteran quarterbacks and in a much friendlier district and in general played an easier schedule than Cheuvront the past 3 seasons.
