With this being the last week of regular season play, does anyone know how they will handle seeding for district play for the teams that were not able to play all of their district games?

I know Highlands 7th boys are #1 seed in their district to be played at HMS next week.

Isn't there still a little work to be done, i.e. if Highlands would lose to Campbell County, doesn't that create a 3 way tie (Highlands, Holmes and Campbell County) in which each have one loss? And what then is the tiebreaker?

For 6th grade girls it could be any of 5 teams. Campbell, Highlands, Summit View, Holmes, and Conner have really good teams. Most would think the favorite would be Conner. They are probably the most well rounded team but don't sleep on Summit View. They press nearly the whole game and it is pretty effective. Highlands can win that region but will need scoring from Macke, Graves, and some point production from down low. They have a few scorers on their bench but defense is where the bench players excel. Should be a good game Tuesday night at HMS versus Campbell County.

I believe Highlands wins the tiebreaker...possibly because Holmes has more losses than all.

I need to check out the Pius 8th grade boys. Anyone know when they play this week?

Would like to know the approx number on the boys 8th grade team. Thanks.

They have an 11 man squad. Pretty decent team with some height.

How is IHM this year?

Gray 7th boys jumped out to a 22-9 halftime leas over Highlands only to See it slip seat as the Birds outscored the Gators 11-0 to cut it to 22-20. Gray pulled away in the 4th using Vince Rankin and Braydon Bromwell's superior Side. Birds cut it to 4 but got no closer.

Gray 39

Birds 32

Gray is 18-2 end Birds Fall to 20-2.

They aren't bad. They have a guard that's pretty decent (#23 I think?), a little bit of height.

Lost to Camp Ernst tonight 50-51 OT.

Record is 22-11.

Won the St Joe tourney and the St Mary tourney.

Wouldn't Campbell be 1 seed in the district with the win tomorrow night against Highlands? 7th grade boy's that is.

Yes, that is correct. I was given bad info from a 13 yr old.

if CC wins tonight then they would be the 1 seed. If Highlands wins they go undefeated in District play and get the 1 seed. CC lost to Holmes earlier in the season and Highlands beat Holmes. Game is at CC MS tonight.
