District 3 girls 6th grade

Turkey foot beats twenhofel

Summit view beats woodland

Conner 6th wins big again vs Tichenor. Conner 6th has lost one game versus the teams in NKY. The only thing that will hamper Conner from winning it all is lack of a big man. Jared Hicks plays bigger than he really is and the guards make good decisions. I look for Beechwood and Summit View to give the Colts trouble in the tourney.

Highlands 8th grade boys defeated Holmes.

Sharp defeated Campbell County.

Wow I thought CC was pretty solid. Did they get Sharpened. At Sharp? Legit question.

Great job Highlands boys!

Is that Coach Hicks' son?

Congrats to the Colts.

Highlands 6th grade boys beat Campbell Co tonight to advance in District 4.

Yes

I didn't see Conner play Ockerman or St. Pius; do you know who won those games? In the games that I have seen Conner play, they have looked very good, including two very convincing wins against Holy Trinity. I wish (as I have said many times now) that there were standings and results posted, so we didn't have to rely on second and third hand information as far as who beat whom. Do you know the records of the top 8th grade teams (presumably Ockerman, St. Pius, Conner)? I would appreciate being enlightened.

Can speak to the record of Ockerman which is 22-1. Beat Conner but lost to St. Pius. Would love to see a St. Pius/Ockerman rematch as the first game Ockerman did not play well at all. St. Pius is good but I think Ockerman would give them a much different game in a rematch.

Conner plays St. Pius at 9:30 am Saturday at Conner for the district title.

Highlands boys 7th down 27-20 at the half stormed back to beat Holmes 53-45. Spencer Macke Led the Birds with 16 pts, 12 in the 2nd half. Alex Starkey had 15 and Brandon Finn pitcher in 11. Great Team ball by the Birds, Center Alex Starkey had atleast 5 assists. They advance to finals.

Highlands 6th Grade Boys won District 4 over Newport today. Congrats Birds! Good Luck in the Regionals.

No, I get your "point". Officiating was like Fox News, fair and balanced. Only saw Sharp for three games but they also looked solid to me. Can't believe there has been no discussion about the Walsh kid from Sharp. He's a very nice player.
