November 3, 201312 yr Author NOTSportsCenter @NOTSportsCenter Florida State's now beaten 2 top 10 teams by a combined score of 92-28, but they're not in the SEC, so enjoy the Orange Bowl guys.
November 3, 201312 yr It was strange comparing this to the Clemson game. That game, my heart was beating fast and I was real nervous as the game began. Thankfully, that didn't last long. Tonight, nothing. Even when Jameis threw two picks - which was frustrating, it was never in the least bit of doubt. With Virginia Tech suddenly off the rails, it really seems hard to believe that we won't see a rematch of this game in the ACC Title Game. At that point, hopefully FSU will tighten the screws a bit more on the Miami offense, but I'd expect more of the same.
November 3, 201312 yr Miami loses Duke Johnson for the rest of the season with a broken ankle, which is a pretty big deal. I remember seeing it when it happened and thinking that maybe he might have some torn ligaments, but not broken. It was on their attempted 4th down conversion, and once he got stopped, the pile pushed onto him and his right ankle folded up underneath him. Big loss for Miami as he is by far their best back.
November 3, 201312 yr Florida State is good, very good. I look for the Noles to be in the NC game. I believe that the three teams that are playing the best football right now are Alabama, Fla. St. and Ohio State.

That could happen, just think of all the uproar if we have 3 or maybe 4 unbeaten in the last year of the BCS, should that happen they will be thrilled to see the 4 team playoff next season. LOLI am rooting for at least two of the three ahead of OSU to lose. lol
November 3, 201312 yr I'm amazed Winston doesn't wear contacts, makes no sense to me. I'll be glad when Wilder Jr is gone and can't believe UM didn't even offer Freeman.
November 3, 201312 yr FSU is exactly like A&M last year. Heck of a QB plus an NFL size O Line. They are for real. Finally nice to see an ACC team stepping their game up.
November 3, 201312 yr Florida State is looking like a monster and one that could very potentially stop the Tide's role. Clemson and Miami are both good teams that could beat many in the top 25 and the Seminoles made them look pretty weak. If they go undefeated the rest of the way considering how they dominated Clemson and Miami, I can't see anyone going ahead of them to play for the national title. If Oregon goes undefeated, there's the big question mark. If the Ducks dominate Stanford, things could get mighty interesting.
November 3, 201312 yr If both end up undefeated, FSU body of work has to get them past the Ducks based on their body of work.

What if Oregon goes into Stanford's home turf and beats them convincingly? And then wins out the rest of the season without being seriously challenged? I think that would be too much for Florida State to overcome.

I'm pulling for Stanford.
