Did anyone in Kentucky even care about Calipari when he was in Memphis?

 

Ummm...I don't know that they cared all that much about him at that time, but if you asked peoples opinion of him that's kinda the response you got, UNTIL he became the man and his recruiting prowess came with him. Then the story changed.

This is bullcrap, Ky should be #1. That guy is an idiot, everyone knows we are crazier than other fan bases. Just ask us.

Not to all fans it didn't. He 100% cheated, or at least knew of cheating going on, at UMass and Memphis. Is he still doing it at UK? I don't know, but he'd be an idiot to be though. :idunno:

Repeating myself from another thread, I would tend to believe this a little bit after what I witnessed at the Holy Cross Sports Nite last Saturday night. Grown men bidding thousands of dollars to pay for the right to have a picture taken of them standing on the neck of the guy who beat them with a last second shot back in 1992.

 

Funny, I haven't seen any news reports of him being in the hospital. Getting soft.

I didn't really care what Cal was doing at Memphis, but I thought he was crooked. I still think he's crooked. And there's not another coach at the college level that I'd prefer as the head man at UK.

Response #1: At least we (UK fans) haven't poisoned anybody's trees yet. :lol2:

 

Response #2: I tell all my UNC and Duke neighbors, the ones who routinely slam Cal and UK, "Hey, WE KNOW Cal's Satan. But, he's OUR Satan." )

Regardless of what number he ranks us, there's no doubt that Duke is our #1 rival in dumbness.

Have to admit though, we do have more ignorant fans than anyone else. So many delusional Cats fans and fanatics whose views are far from realistic. Those are the ones who cause the entire fan base to have a bad name.

I wanted Kentucky to hire Cal the first time around. I also do not root for any other college football teams just because UK sucks. :lol2:

They can do no wrong
