The audit/compliance area of snap is supposedly awful per someone I know who owns a grocery in a low income neighborhood. Apparently not difficult to break the rules and not get caught. I hope he was telling the truth that he does not break the rules but admitted some customers will look for a store that will taking sales away from you.

Have you ever been to a store where they said that their credit card EBT system was down . It has happened to me at least three times that I can remember .Twice in Kroger once in Remke's . I didn.t have enough cash so I left the cart and came back the next day and used my debit cards when the system was online again . .

The few thousand this will cost Wally World is nickels compared to the public relations nightmare they would have gone through had they refused to accept the people's cards. Talking heads all over would have been blowing up how big, bad, corporate fat cat, Walmart is out to keep down the poor on government assistance and unfortunately many hear this would actually believe it. This was a cheap bill to pay to avoid such nonsense.
