September 29, 201313 yr They should have called more fake field goals. When somethings working, keep with it, make them prove they can stop it. That's just play calling 101.
September 29, 201313 yr I agree that they played not to get beat bad, instead of playing letting it all go.
September 29, 201313 yr Play calling was questionable on several occasions for UK tonight. Questionable is being kind.
September 29, 201313 yr Stoops very upset after the game, a win today would have helped his chances for the Texas Job.
September 29, 201313 yr Same old same old...I've seen this same game every year since I was 10 years old.
September 29, 201313 yr What was the Wr thinking on the Qb throw back play? Whitlow likely would have scored. I had a feeling they wouldn't score after that interception return.
September 29, 201313 yr New coach New staff Same results How long until the crying begins "we need a new coach" Get mad but it will happen.
September 29, 201313 yr Although I didn't get to watch the game and it seems very ugly it's still encouraging for this staff and team. This team isn't supposed to compete yet they have in every game. They are still struggling in areas but it's growing pains. It's funny listening to the call in shows and hearing all the people who believe they know better than the staff and players. Give it time it will come together and although it sucks that they lose fans have to expect.
September 29, 201313 yr A lot of positives with this game still. The defense still looked fairly competent, a far cry from the past few years. Only gave up 3 points in the second half is another plus. Lethe team seemed to keep their heads up and in the game the whole time which is a plus.... The QB play is horrendous. Jalen has no confidence amdy more and Max anticipates getting hit before he throws it and is another headcase. Hard to knock play calling when your QB's can't throw, and your line gets owned by UF D line. UK doesn't have the horses to run this offense. But they are going to keep running it to sell to recruits even if it isn't their best chance to win. Interesting fact: Joe Mansour was the leading rusher with 25 yards... That's pretty pathetic.
