What is the longest drive you've made?

When I was working, several times I left from Maysville at 5 or so in the evening and drove to St. Augustine, getting there early the next morning. 840 miles; stopped for gas twice each time.

Always felt like I was getting an extra day of vacation that way, even if I did need a couple of catnaps that first day.

Sleep is overrated.

Any drive that has required me to go north on I-71. Gotta be the most boring stretch of road in the history of roads.

I've never been out to Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, etc., so I'll take your word that it's boring for around here.

I used to drive the Bluegrass Parkway a lot. I thought that was the most boring stretch of road anywhere nearby.

Until I had to drive the Western Kentucky Parkway a few times. Made the BG Parkway look like the Vegas Strip.

I make the 10 hour trip back to Delaware a couple of times a year, usually once by myself. When I was a teenager, my parents twice drove the family from Delaware to Los Angeles. 3 1/2 days of driving, one way. I think we stopped and spent nights in Arkansas and New Mexico.

Saginaw Mich to Fort Walton Beach FL and St. Pete FL to Frankfort KY. I was whopped both times...Now I stop for an overnight in Spartansburg SC trying to get to Myrtle Beach, I can't do it anymore and it's not worth it anyway. It waste the 1st day.
