Hellbird
Those flights to Asia are something else. The time zones change, the day change.....something else. They are even worse these days with the dang GPS on the back of the head rests. I went to Australia back in 2005 and had to turn off the GPS. After falling asleep for what I hoped was 10 hours, I woke up and looked at the gps to see how close we were and I swear the stupid cartoon plane was in the same spot in the middle of the ocean!!! That seemed to be the longest flight ever. although flying back from Korea was actually the longest, something like 21 1/2 hours.
MentschTrachtGottLacht
Longest drive? about 340 yards on a par 5. In a car, 14 hours worth to New Orleans, did it twice. Only took us about 12 on the way home the one year. In a plane, it once took me 36 hours from the time I left my house till the time I walked into my hotel room in Hong Kong. I was on a flight from Frankfurt to Johannesburg, which at the time, was the longest flight in the world: 16 hours. Not sure if that is still the case or not. All Tell
I once drove back to Louisville from Jacksonville FL with only 4 stops for gas and nature in just over 11 hours. That's when I was much younger. Now I make at least twice that many nature stops. I usually drive to Jax and back by myself twice a year.
