Three Mboro players come to mind. Andrew Breeding Power-Cleans 305 and squats over 500. A.J. Jones also squats over 500. Shawn Russell is probably the best at the bench, but I don't know what he lifts these days.

Mboro usually doesn't bench much, they prefer the Olympic lifts. But I have heard that they have begun an intense benching workout in preparation for this year's Combines and NIKE Camp.

435 bench for a high school kid is great. Just out of curiosity what is his height and weight?

The rumor is true, Washington has moved away. He goes to school somwhere around Louisville now, and I seriously doubt Johnson will play football. I don't think he has ever played and I can't see him jeopordizing his basketball career.

One of the coaches at North Laurel told me that they lost two of their strongest players in Woods (1,130 lbs on 3 lifts) and George (around 1,000 lbs on 3 lifts). He also told me that suprisingly, several of the strongest players are some of the seniors to be (current juniors) who are in the skill positions (WR, QB, RB, etc) and that they have several young linemen who are working hard and improving every day, but I don't have the numbers on any of them right now. I was told that the strongest pound for pound player was probably the Robinson kid (WR/DB) who is pumping up well beyond what he should be able to at his size and that he is probably the speediest player on the team.
