Reds @ Cardinals August 26th - 28th

Big win. 3.5 games out now, a sweep and this division would race have been pretty much over for the Reds. Still within distance.

Glad I was wrong about Wainright.

Hmmmm, trying to figure out your logic. If the Reds lost this game, 1 game, they would of been out of it. They won, 1 game, which makes them a contender and within distance. Really?

How do you come up with that logic? If they lost they would be 4.5 games out, 1 game difference from 3.5 games out. Yet that 1 game is all the difference in the world. Lol

The reds have a losing record against teams with a winning record. The Reds lost every single series against the Cardinals this year. Does it really matter if they won or not yesterday? Either way they can't beat good teams so they sure in the heck won't win a playoff series.

Serious question for our Reds faithful:

If you could have one Cardinal, non-pitcher, who would it be? Have to be on the current roster Flotsam so don't float Stan the man out here.

I hate myself for saying it, but Molina.

Heisey's shot was an absolute bomb.

Good win for the Redlegs and needed.

If they lost they would have been 5.5 back of 1st. At only 3.5 back they are in much better position. So yes it mattered...

Homer gets an RBI. Somewhere in America, Clizzy has grabbed his towel & lotion & has headed for the nearest bathroom.
On advice from Bert, he went with the Frog Lube for easier cleanup.

My son is a Cards fan. I hate him.

Didn't it matter the day before also? or the day before that too?

Hellbird, your maf is bad.

Of course they would have loved to win those games, but taking one out of three leaves them in the hunt. 3.5 is tough to overcome, but they still have 4 with the Cards next week. 5.5 out they could have swept that series and still been in the hole. Now, if they can take 3 of 4 or better next week then were right there...

Read that Wainwright's career ERA vs the Reds is over 4... About that not wanting to face him in a one game playoff thing....

Fat fingers, and your lysdexic.

Now THAT'S funny!
