Letter from Ft. Mitchell about the Red Zone (old Indigo's).

So, I guess in the mayors eyes, I-75 is the DMZ? I thought we dropped the North years ago? Wasn't it after we invaded it? Hmmm.....

:lol2: My thoughts exactly.

All Weist had to do was call Blanchester and ask them about any complaints about the business there, as well as look into Nick&Tony's in Covington and the Log Cabin in 3L on any past police calls ect, as they are all owned by this owner. By him sending out this letter he sounds like a snob! As well as showing these loud mouths that they can control him, as it was a non-issue. I was at my bank next door to it on Saturday, and didn't notice any wild colors, not did I notice anything 2 weeks ago before I left the country.

Is this where Tumbleweed used to be?

No, it has been an Indigo's for a long time. Stand alone building two doors north of I-75 on the east side of Dixie Hwy., directly across from Ft. Mitchell Ave.

So when does the first episode of "Housewives of Fort Mitchell" air?

I just drove by the place and it looks as if they are repainting the outside. It was a yellow color, which they are now switching to a grey color.

You mean "Housewives of North Fort Mitchell", right? :lol2:

You know I spent a large portion of my childhood with my grandparents in South Fort Mitchell and did not know until now that there was a country club there...

Guess I wasn't privileged.

We used to go over to the north end of town to hunt golf balls in the ponds of the country club. Made some pretty good hauls.

I think the color was better than the drab gray there are painting it now, don't those Northerners know that's a South color?

The mayor is an idiot!

Wish I would have known about it. I was always using my grandpa's cup cutter to make my own course in the backyard...

No, I mean the whole city. The catfights between the North and South on the overpass would make for good TV.

Wonder if they think that with the restaurant serving chicken wings, surely pimpin' and rock-slingin' is bound to follow?

I too grew up on the South side of Ft. Mitchell. I married a North side boy. Not all North sided people are like that. Lots of good people over there. Again, it only takes a few whinny snobby ones to make everyone look bad. Overall, the citizens of Ft. Mitchell are good, decent, hard working people. Ft. Mitchell is not the only city with petty, entitled people. Every city has them. This is unfortunately one incident that shines the light on ours.

I am embarrassed by the actions of the few as it reflects so poorly on a city that I love. I hope to make up for them by being a good customer to this new place.
