June 19, 201313 yr My friends grandad told him in all his life of watching sports that by far was the worse called game in any sport he has ever watched. My nephew and the grandson both agreed. I said it was just common daily occurrence in the Not Basketball League. He hasn't watched much basketball then. I have seen far far worse than last night.

Bosh had his hand on the ball before there was contact by the bodies. I liked the no call. Leonard makes his free throws and this is a non issue. Parker wasn't fouled at the end of regulation. He flopped. Lebron flops way too much. Way too much. He's too big to be doing that crap. As great of a game as it was last night, PutMeInCoach and I were both perplexed that on two of the games final possession the two worst players on the court last night had the ball in their hands. DWade came in the game with 4 minutes left and proceeded to get in the way and the Heat lost their lead. Him being the #2 option last night wasn't needed. The Heat battled back, take the lead, Wade comes in, they lose the lead. Wade pretty much stood around until the Heat's very last possession and then he goes isolation and misses a 19 footer? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?????? Then the Spurs get the rebound and Manu takes charge and then he proceeds to turn it over almost immediately. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?????? Two of the games biggest possessions and Manu and Wade are the lead guys? Their coaches should be fired for even having them on the floor at that time. Unbelievable. Twitter was on fire when Lebron lost his headband. Twitter gold at that time. Twitter gold.

June 19, 201313 yr Shouldn't have taken Duncan out on those possessions. Needed him in there for the rebound. 2 offensive rebounds kept the Heat alive. Agreed. Terrible coaching decision.

June 19, 201313 yr Great game. Bosh fouled him, sure. How about this, don't pin your hopes on a 3 fading away out of bounds in the corner and you probably don't have to worry about that. Secondly, two possessions before that, Ginoboli literally dribbled one time from behind half court to the basket, I rewound and watched. Dribbled once, took 9 steps. Why is no one talking about that no call?
June 19, 201313 yr Just a few thoughts... Kawhai Leondard makes the front end of that pair of free throws, game over. I completely agree with the no call on Ginobli. He had been out of control the entire game and that possession was more of the same. He walked, and barreled into the lane. Good no call. Pop dropped the ball on several occasions, IMO. No way you sit Duncan to start the 4th, and no way he's not in the game on those critical possessions late in regulation. Last night, there were many examples of why I don't like LeBron James. There was one instance where he sat on the floor at the free throw line, and it looked as if he slapped the floor upset about a non-call. Are you freakin' kidding me? Cry more... That was an 8 year olds temper tantrum if I've ever seen one. And it wasn't the only time he did it. Don't even get me started on his flopping, and the audacity he had to say Parker flopped (even though he did). Even though I expected Miami to win this game, I think the way it played out really hurts the Spurs chances in Game 7. Duncan put the team on his back in the first half, he won't have another half like that again. Being up 10 to start the 4th, pretty much immediately losing the lead, and then battling for the next 15 minutes only to lose... I think that's tough for them to recover from. On the flip side, Ginobli, Green, and Parker were virtually non existent. Any of the three of them give any kind of lift, series over.

June 19, 201313 yr Jumpshot Bosh had a couple of critical defensive possessions last night. Yes he did. Bosh was good for about 5 minutes last night. Some huge blocks but the rebounds - without Duncan in the game - were equally as huge if not bigger.

June 19, 201313 yr Where to begin... Popovich refused to deviate from his typical strategies late game. You can argue stubbornness got in the way and cost the Spurs another title. Or you can argue he was doing exactly what you are always taught to do and he stuck to his plan that has won him multiple titles and more games than anyone else since he has been coaching. Had they secured a loose ball or Allen/James miss their 3 point attempts he looks like a genius. If you want to get on to Popovich about something, I would get on to him for removing everyone at the start of the fourth quarter. Miami did not capture the lead, but it allowed Miami to get in to a comfortable rhythm and allowed James to get going. Or for playing Manu as much as he did. Speaking of which... Manu. What in the hell are you doing????????? Manu makes Russ Smith look like a great decision maker. We are not talking about great defensive plays having to be made here. I could have picked off 3 or 4 of his passes last night. That was as horrendous of a game, from a one-time high level player, I have ever seen. LeBron was completely frustrated going in to the 4th quarter. He was being guarded masterfully. The 4th begins and he is given a green light by the Spurs to conduct a layup line and he gets rolling by ATTACKING THE RIM. The man never can and never will be stopped. Then when it becomes gut check time, LeBron James pulled a pre-2012 LeBron James. He goes in to the paint, gets turned around and the ball is lost. Next possession down he airballs a 5 footer. On the bench he looked totally dejected. But fortunately Manu just missed a FT and James gets a chance to redeem himself down 5. He proceeds to take such a horrible shot from long range it never touches the rim and it becomes a loose ball scenario and he is able to catch and shoot without thinking and drains a 3. But I have to give James props. For about 8-9 minutes in the 4th quarter he was who I think he should always be and absolutely dominated the game and brought back the Heat. In OT he had another bonehead turnover but the Heat were not going to be denied that game in OT. His block on Duncan was much more impressive than the Splitter block. And if Splittler never plays again I will not shed a tear.
