They lied about it for 3 weeks while the President was in the process of being reelected. That is what the issue is. The made up story. They were trying to protect Obama as being "tough on terror", and this attack and stand down wouldn't have fit that narrative.

 

When politicians lie on either side of the aisle, I always hope they get nailed. This is where the press has to do homework.

 

Whether it be Clinton lying about Lewinski, Nixon about Watergate, or Obama about this, I want the truth to come out and let the holier than thou politicians to realize they are being watched and scrutinized and not above being caught in their own manufactured manipulations.

If the GOP inquisitors can't nail Hillary or Obama, then this investigation is going away fairly soon.

The British Gov't came out and said their Intelligence office was one of the first to claim WMD's before Bush and Powell went to congress in the first place. They were using information from numerous sources. That has been documented as facts from day 1. whether or not there were WMD, there was intelligence agencies that stated there were and that is what Powell and Bush went with. Wrong or right doesn't matter, the question was whether or not the white house during Bush's term made it up or not and they clearly didn't. They may have been given false information, but they went off of the information they received.
