Compare Susan Rice's comments to the WMD speech delivered by Colin Powell to the U.N. in '03. Were both "lying"? Or were they simply fed bad intelligence?

You mean we could have averted a decade long war, who knows how many trillions of dollars, nearly 5,000 dead American soldiers, and God knows how many other deaths in one night of air strikes?

 

But, really, says who? Most sources are saying Israel struck Iranian missiles on their way to Lebanon. Not to mention, the "transferred to Syria" is a "theory."

Thanks for setting me on the "path to truth." For years I thought Bush-Cheney fed Powell a can of spam. But now I know better and will have no hesitation in visiting the new GWB revisionist history library.

It is turning into comedy hour in this topic. Really, did someone bring George Bush up? George Bush is not the president. This well your side is worse nonsense lacks any intelligence and solves nothing. All this thread is about, is trying to get the bottom of a major cover up. If you want to discuss your problems with GWB feel free to start a topic. Otherwise bring substance to this actual topic, because a lot of people against the hearing are showing a lack of knowledge of the information that has come out.

 

It is very simple we know the State Department lied and the White House told the military to stand down. The only answer we are missing is started the lie and who told the military to stand down. If you don't find those things to be a big deal that is your own opinion. I personally want to know these answers.

I will say this after all the calls by some on this very board for bipartisianship, if a majority of us can't come together on this issue then I feel its safe to say that dream is impossible. I mean really people take a deep breath take your blinders off and look at the facts of this case. You can't be a moderate if you defend the president on every issue. It is that simple.

I think this will be my last post in any Benghazi thread unless more information comes to light. But, I've lost my temper in two of them so far and it's just becoming cartoonish at this point. I don't think I've ever seen an issue like this here.

I also want to know who in the white house or state dep created this lie and their reasoning. Someone needs to be fired and/or prosecuted.

 

Motive goes a long way into how serious this issue is going to end up. But if we keep getting officials hiding info and intimidating witnesses we will never get the truth.

It is not necessarily what she said but discovering the motive on why she said it.

The reason they were struck is because of the threat that they could be used against Israel and armed with chemical weapons. The "theory" is going to be proven correct over time. One night of air strikes have come no where close to getting all the chemical weapons that are in Syria. Israel got what is could quickly and got what was a direct threat.....there will be more air strikes and covert operations.

 

Also if you don't think we have special ops and drones in Syria and Syrian airspace right now monitoring or blowing something up, you are very naive.
