Kentucky Recruiting 2015

According to the all-knowing Evan Daniels, 2015 small forward Brandon Ingram will visit Kentucky for Big Blue Madness on October 17, a week after checking out Kansas’ Late Night at the Phog. Ingram is considered the fourth best small forward in his class, and most think it’s down to Duke or North Carolina for his services, but a visit to Lexington on the program’s biggest night could change that.

So far, the BBM guest list includes Stephen Zimmerman, Carlton Brag, and Derryck Thornton (2016). Antonio Blakeney said he will probably come, and the staff is trying their hardest to get Jaylen Brown on campus as well.

Kentucky Sports Radio | University of Kentucky Basketball, Football, and Recruiting news brought to you in the most ridiculous manner possible.

I believe Ivan Rabb will end up visiting for BBM as well; and if Rabb does, Malik Newman and Diamond Stone may as well. We'll see how it goes. We'll definitely see a few more recruits make their reservations for BBM in the coming month though.

Could you explain more?

I've scouted him 10-15 times and he comes off as a kid that doesn't love the game. The size and athleticism are there, but his motor runs low, body language goes south quickly if he isn't playing well and his skill level is low. Best way to describe him is frustrating...

Thanks I always respect your evaluations.

Diamond Stone did not list UK in his top 5.

Henry Ellenson announced yesterday that Kentucky is in his top 3. Others are Marquette, and can't remember the last one. Brother will be eligible to play basketball at Marquette the same year he will be able to go there. Probably a Marquette lean.

Forgot to mention yesterday; Jaylen Brown confirmed he's visiting UK for Big Blue Madness. Will also visit Kansas for their Late Night festivities as well.

Carlton Bragg's final 5:

UK/Arizona/KU/UCLA/Illinois

Can be really good if he realizes he should be playing from 15 feet and in. Hate the fact guys like him refuse to accept that they are a power forward and not a wing...

That doesn't sound like a kid Cal would recruit.
