Rice Lake, Wisconsin (Rice Lake) Top247: No. 12 overall, No. 4 PF 247 Composite: No. 8 overall, No. 3 PF Rivals: No. 17 overall, No. 5 PF ESPN: No. 5 overall, No. 3 PF Scout: No. 7 overall, No. 3 C Other offers include: Marquette, Duke, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa State, Creighton, Michigan State, North Carolina, UCLA 1.) Has some young Antoine Walker to him.” He has also drawn comparisons to Dirk Nowitzski. 2.) He went head-to-head with DeMarcus Cousins and Anthony Davis in New Jersey last month. Cousins and Davis were the two instructors at Nike’s Big Man Skills Academy, where Ellenson was one of 15 high schools players invited to train with the two former Wildcats and 10 college big men. 3.) He made a huge surge in the rankings in the last couple of months. Ellenson was ranked No. 46 in the 247Composite when Kentucky picked up talks with him in early May. Now he is No. 8 overall in the rankings, up almost 40 spots. 4.) His older brother, Wally, transferred to Marquette this summer after two seasons at Minnesota. Marquette is recruiting Henry to join his older brother and currently leads his Crystal Ball predictions at 62 percent. 5.) ESPN’s Joel Francisco named him one of the five best players at the LeBron James Skills Academy, along with Cheick Diallo, Jayson Tatum, Ben Simmons and Stephen Zimmerman. Brandon Ingram, Small Forward 6’8″, 180 lbs. He has already taken at least three unofficial visits to Duke in 2014 with two reported coaches visits from Coach K and assistant Jeff Capel. He has made at least two trips to Chapel Hill this year while meeting at home with Roy Williams on at least three separate occasions. 2.) Two former Tar Heels, Jerry Stackhouse and Reggie Bullock, also attended Ingram’s Kinston High School. 3.) He recently told CatsPause.com, “(Kentucky is) making me more of a priority… (Coach Cal) talked about how bad he wants me. He said I’m the type of player he wants. We had a very good talk and they want to get in the mix more and try to recruit me.” 4.) He plans to visit Kentucky next month. Louisville, too. Antonio Blakeney, Shooting Guard 6’4″, 170 lbs. There is another Cardinal Mooney in Sarasota, where Blakeney scored over 1,000 points before transferring to Oak Ridge in Orlando for his junior season last year. 3.) John Lucas called him “the most explosive scorer in the 2015 class” in a tweet from the LeBron James Skills Academy over the weekend. 247Sports.com’s Jerry Meyer said he is “an electric scorer.” 4.) He has long been one of Louisville’s top targets, but the Cards are losing ground as interest picks up from other schools. Louisville still leads the Crystal Ball predictions at 39 percent but the lead isn’t what it once was.
