Catholic 7 basketball schools are the "Big East." Football schools (Louisville, Cincinnati, UConn, etc.) are the "AAC."

I think the new name works. Much better than the other one they used at first. It is appropriate, based on the geography of the schools, and is marketable. That about covers what you want in a name, doesn't it?
