Henderson has some crazy range, but so do I with a rifle...but if I don't hit the target it doesn't matter. When he's on I'm sure he can carry them by his self, but some of the shots he was jacking up tonight we horrendous.

Judging by his 38% on FGs this year. He isn't on much.

Kennedy needs to rein him in a little for his and the team's benefit. If he took fewer shots but better shots, his percentage would go up and the team would be better off for it.

Henderson is truly a class act down there. What impressed me the most was how he pulled himself out of the game and had Kennedy chasing him down. Really showed a lot of respect to his coach. I have a hard time imaging how this guy has played at 4 schools.

Did anyone see Dicky V's tweet about how Kennedy must stay awake at night worrying about a call involving Henderson? So true.

Anyway, excellent win for the Cats. Incredible how high and low you can get with this team in the span of 10 minutes.

I couldn't watch this one live and just got finished watching it. WOW!! Now that was a UK basketball team playing hard, tough and winning basketball. I can't say enough about N. Noel tonight, 12 blocks-5 of them after his 4th foul. I believe that all played their butts off tonight, knew they had to have it and went out and got the :W". The Wildcats grew up a lot tonight. Wiltzer became the leader imo. Overall a very good game plan by Cal that his players executed. This game will hopefully set these Cats off on a run.

Plenty of whistles to say the very least, plenty were called on both teams. One Noel foul that I was most upset with was his fourth. He was called for a foul under the basket with his hands straight up in the air defending the shooter, did not reach and on top of that was elbowed under the chin by the shooter. They failed to ask me what I thought about it though. :D.

Ole Miss played equally hard and are very strong underneath. That spoke even more for Noel seeing how he has very little help on D under the basket, especially with WCS out. I guess the little "Mouth of the Missisippi" Henderson didn't have a lot to say after talking so much before :sssh:.

How about Wiltjer's rim rocka? That was awesome.

Great win for the Cats. Noel getting his 4th foul really hurt us and they made that huge run. Gut check time for the Cats and they answered. Said a week ago they would be fine and come together.

:thumb: That you did....:notworthy:, I give you full credit and know that you will carry us through the season!

Well, I just finished watching it & certainly didn't expect that. Pretty solid team effort by the Cats. Wiltjer was outstanding, Poythress played with some energy & emotion, Archie passed the ball, & the other two-thirds of the White Boy Academy kept us afloat when we needed them.

But for me, Nerlens stole the show. It's amazing what he does on the defensive side of the ball.

Henderson was erratic just like he always is, but couldn't hit the side of a barn. He hurt them far more than he helped them. I thought he would go off & I would hate him worse than both Hansbrough's combined. But after this lackluster performance, he doesn't get to join PP92, GrizzlyAdams & RockPride on my "People To Kill" list.

You probably can't see it because you are a fan, and I get that. But Henderson is a punk IMO.

:thumb: Henderson is all about Henderson. As I said in another thread, after he pulled that stunt after the game vs. Aubrn if I am his coach he would had ran until he dropped and then some plus would had sit this game out. I got a shot taken at me for that one too

How about referee Joe Lindsey making Henderson pick the ball back up & hand it to an official? I've watched a lot of basketball in my life, but I don't remember ever seeing anything like that.

C.M. Tomlin @CM_Tomlin

Tad Smith Coliseum hasn't been this let down since Ty Herndon neglected to play "Hands of a Working Man" during a 1999 concert there.

I agree on all points you made as well as your feelings on the "Mouth of the Mississippi" are the same as mine. I don't think that I will join in the group you mentioned though, that has all it needs.

Cats were crappy at the line, but Goodwin was great. Scored half of his points from the charity stripe. He also had 4 assists, which tied for the team high with Mays.

Starting to see why so many felt Nerlens was the best rim protector to come around in a LONG time. His ability to alter every shot taken at the rim is remarkable...

I remember some analysts saying last year that he was the best pure shot blocker that was not in the NBA--including Anthony Davis. I'm inclined to believe them now. He's not nearly the all around player but man can he block some shots.

With the injuries to the Ole Miss players it appears Andy Kennedy has sold his soul to the devil for a ticket to the NIT in regards to his handling of Henderson. I couldn't believe he put him back into the game after slamming the ball and throwing the ice at his own fans...
