Walton has a few big, physical freshman, and a couple 8th graders playing... Should be interesting to see how they do in this tournament.

Newport at Boone cancelled. Walton at Dixie cancelled. Scott/Ludlow at Cov Cath cancelled. Cov Cath/Cooper at Cov Cath cancelled. 2/4 games.

No word on whether or not Ryle @ St. Henry happened or not. Holmes/Lloyd @ Cov Cath is still being played.

1st quarter: Holmes pressed Lloyd and forced turnover after turnover getting one easy basket after another to take a 19-6 lead at the end of the 1st quarter

 

2nd quarter: This quarter found Holmes subbing frequently with both teams scoring 9 points apiece and the score 28-15 in favor of Holmes.

 

3rd quarter: Was a carbon copy of the 1st with Homes forcing turnover after turnover and increasing their lead after three quarter to 45-24.

 

4th quarter: This quarter belong to Lloyd as the Juggernats outscored the Bulldogs 8-6 to end the game with the score of 51-32.

Both teams battle hard in the first half and Holy Cross goes into the locker room with 1 point lead at 15 to 14. They come out of the locker room and go on a 9 to 0 run to stretch the lead to 24 to 14 about midway through the 3rd quarter. That is when the Birds clamp down defensively and hold the Indians to 2 points the final 9+ minutes of the game and go on to win.
