Solid win for the Neers. They are going to be tough inside the 8th region. I was impressed with them the other night when I saw them.

Return of Barnes and an improving knee of Swanson makes it a different team. Barnes came in off the bench and immediately hit a 3 pointer and then hit Sampson with a pass of an inbounds play that connected for another 3. Barnes return to the line-up seemed to open up scoring opportunities for Sampson. He still isn't 100% but looked good. Sampson scored 29 and Barnes 23; many of Sampson's points were down the stretch from the line. Swanson with several nice assists driving to the basket while running the point. Not sure of the rebounding but seemed like SK had the edge. Morrison not the biggest kid on the floor but really rebounded the ball well. Steiner still going fairly deep into the bench.

 

Impressed with how hard Ryle played and moved the ball but difference in the game to me was Sk's depth.

Morrison has a bit of grit, seems like a hard working young man. Nice to see Barnes come back and making major contributions. The kid has a ton of energy and he won't pass on an open look. Sampson putting up big numbers but I'm not surprised since he finished '11/'12 on a roll. Knott County Central next on the schedule, December 27 at LexCath.
