My answer was debate. Obviously that won't work with close minded individuals like yourself. I don't have an agenda. Like I said, what we are doing isn't working. Something needs to change. Whether that be tanks in front of schools, or banning guns is up to the legislators to decide. I know I don't feel near as safe with my kids sitting in an elementary school as I did on Thursday. If you don't like it, so be it. I will tell you this.........if banning assault rifles was on the table, I'd vote yes today, just like I would have on Thursday. Other guns, I'm not prepared to answer on so close to the tragedy. Before Friday I probably wouldn't have even considered banning other types of guns.

I think schools should change. I think a highly trained/armed person with-in the school would do wonders. I think doors to each and every classroom should have some sort of locking mechanism that when there is a security breech each classroom would be secured from people wanting in. Also, doors need to be bulletproof. Just things I thought of off the top of my head...so they may not be well thought out.
