I am so sick of being force-fed the Bengals and Reds. Cincinnati should be happy that we even have a franchise. Why do the Cincinnati fans feel that we have some entitlement to be a championship caliber program??? We are like the 28th largest media market in the United States. The only people who give a rat's patoot about the Bengals are the people who live in Cincinnati. If you go make a bet on Cincinnati in Vegas, the clerk will smile and say, "You must be from Cincinnati."

Be happy that you've got an NFL team, enjoy their successes and stop torturing yourself about failing to find some unrealistic Holy Grail that Cincinnatians think we should be claiming on an annual basis. We are lucky that we have any success at all and aren't 28th every year.

I'm sick of the Bengals on the radio 24/7. My alarm goes off on Sunday morning and their is Ken Broo (sp) talking about the Bengals like they are family members. They are professional football players who have only one interest - their personal contracts. They sell their soul out to the highest bidder and have no allegiance at all to the city in which they play. I get in the car after the game and Broo is back on talking about the loss like his pet dog died.

It is a business and you are being bilked big bucks to go down there and worship at the altar of these tin gods. $260 for Club Seats, extras for food etc., but shame on us because we pay the price to pad Brown's and the players pockets. The only losers are the fans and the city itself.

Novel idea....You don't like it, listen to something else. No one is forcing you to listen to Cincinnati sports talk radio.

Yeah this mediocre team of Dallas is a game back of first had won three of four coming into this game. And had a tragedy heading into this game and as we seen in sports that actually gets team's to play with more emotion. Should they have won still yes. Does things like that happen in the nfl yes.

Won 3 out of 4?? Yeah, they beat Cleveland (IMPRESSIVE!!) and Philadelphia twice (VERY IMPRESSIVE!!) I stand corrected, the Cowboys are a force to be reckoned with!! Look, the Bengals have TONS of talent in key positions but as long as Mike Brown owns AND GM's and Marvin Lewis can't come up with a way to manage the game, the Bengals are not gonna be winners. They have incredible Coordinators in Gruden and Zimmer but the problem is above them, not below them, in the food chain.

Ol' papa was at the game yesterday. Nice atmosphere (although there seemed to be about 10-15k Cowboys fans).

Momentum-changer of the game - the penalty on Nelson for separating Bryant from the ball on a perfectly legal hit. Game probably ends differently without that horrible call.

The NFL has become a joke.

It did seem to unravel the D. They got the stop later on the drive, but completely lost their composure and never got it back.

On this issue I agree 100%. Might as well play 2-hand touch.

How about the play where Romo was being sacked and the ref never blows the whistle? As a result, Dunlap jumps in on tackling Romo and gets a face mask penalty. I thought the league was all about protecting players? On that play Romo could have been seriously hurt because the official was so slow with his whistle.

Dez Bryant tore the ligaments in his finger and is out for the season.

I watched very little of the game, but did see the play you mentioned. Rediculous call.

Wait a minute I thought they were at the lowest of their lows coming into this game like you said? It doesn't seem to me that they would be that low coming off winning 3 of their last 4 and being back in the playoff chase. Then yes the death of their teammate is hard. However as we see in sports that usually inspires teams to go out and play even harder than normal for their fallen teammate. The Bengals play a team yesterday who was doing really well lately and was playing for the playoffs and for their fallen teammate. They were not playing this pathetic mediocre team as you explained. Yet even with all that they still blew it, I know this.

People need to look past this whole its the Bengals thing and look at the actual team this year. To me this just has a different feel of Bengal teams in the past. They don't seem like a team who will let this game make them go in the tank like past teams. I see this team going on a run to make it in, rather than past teams who lose and not make it.

^I know people will never forget how bad Mike Brown was when he first took over the team and all the bad things as an owner he has done. However for people to still blame Mike Brown for the Bengals now is just wrong. Like Mike Brown or not and maybe he got lucky, but he has put together a very good young team with a bright future. There are a lot of teams who would love to have the young talent the Bengals have right now. I could buy the argument people may have on Marvin and maybe never going anywhere with him. However the team on the field now is a good team, so if he gets the blame for all the bad teams. Then I don't know how you still blame him when he has built a really good young team.

They got 3 more plays and lost 7 yards before punting after that call. The game changed because Gruden abandoned the law firm.

Dez Bryant tore the ligaments in his finger and is out for the season.

That is assuming he proceeds with surgery.
