December 10, 201213 yr Yeah this mediocre team of Dallas is a game back of first had won three of four coming into this game. And had a tragedy heading into this game and as we seen in sports that actually gets team's to play with more emotion. Should they have won still yes. Does things like that happen in the nfl yes. So yes I will be hopeful just like I was when everyone else gave up on them before last season. Just like last year after people gave up again after they blew the Texans game in the regular season last year at this same time. Just like earlier this year after their four game losing streak. So please tell me again why I all of a sudden should not be hopeful now when they still control their destiny?
December 10, 201213 yr Any chance Josh Brown unseats Nugent. 4 FGS and multiple touchbacks. He looked pretty good.
December 10, 201213 yr Besides the one long run anytime they did try to run in the second half they were stuffed. The passing game was there and moving the ball. People have to simply catch the ball. If the Bengals did run more and get stuffed and had three and outs and more than two punts because it. People would then say why did you get so conservative and playing not to lose. When the Bengals lose it wouldn't matter what they did it still would be wrong.
December 10, 201213 yr I was thinking the something. He probably will kick again Thursday. So if he does well again he might get to keep the spot.

December 10, 201213 yr Great atmoshphere at Paul Brown Stadium today. Fun game. Right up until ... :isurrender::madman: "Other than that, how was your trip to Dallas, Ms. Kennedy?"
December 10, 201213 yr WR that drops wide open passes on a wide open route to the Endzone. Coach that miss manages TOs again. Did someone hit the rewind button a every other previous Bungles game?
December 10, 201213 yr You do realize that Thursday is a big trap game. Short week and looking forward to Pittsburgh. It was going to be a trap game, but now I don't see it as being as much of a trap game now. They just completely blew a game they had won. The loss sucks, but now it honestly should at least stop them from possibly over looking the Eagles. It won't be easy because even though the Eagles have a bad record, they do have talent. The Bengals will have to play very good.
December 10, 201213 yr [/b] By now, I doubt anyone would waste their time. Let's discuss in a couple of weeks You right I guess I should be happy people seem to be giving up on them again. Everytime people did last year they came back and proved people wrong. Its been the same way this year. I am know I am very opptimistic but there is no reason not to be because they do have a good young team. I don't let how pathetic the Bengals were for the majority of my life effect the here and now. Past seasons do not matter, only this season does. There is a reason they play 16 regular season games, so that is why I won't let a tough loss make me say well its over now. They still control their own destiny, they can earn their way in. Which if they do they deserve to be in there, if they can't get it done they dont. We will see the type of team they are. Even if they don't make the playoffs there is still a lot to look forward to with this team.
December 10, 201213 yr I am so sick of being force-fed the Bengals and Reds. Cincinnati should be happy that we even have a franchise. Why do the Cincinnati fans feel that we have some entitlement to be a championship caliber program??? We are like the 28th largest media market in the United States. The only people who give a rat's patoot about the Bengals are the people who live in Cincinnati. If you go make a bet on Cincinnati in Vegas, the clerk will smile and say, "You must be from Cincinnati." Be happy that you've got an NFL team, enjoy their successes and stop torturing yourself about failing to find some unrealistic Holy Grail that Cincinnatians think we should be claiming on an annual basis. We are lucky that we have any success at all and aren't 28th every year. I'm sick of the Bengals on the radio 24/7. My alarm goes off on Sunday morning and their is Ken Broo (sp) talking about the Bengals like they are family members. They are professional football players who have only one interest - their personal contracts. They sell their soul out to the highest bidder and have no allegiance at all to the city in which they play. I get in the car after the game and Broo is back on talking about the loss like his pet dog died. It is a business and you are being bilked big bucks to go down there and worship at the altar of these tin gods. $260 for Club Seats, extras for food etc., but shame on us because we pay the price to pad Brown's and the players pockets. The only losers are the fans and the city itself. Don't understand any animosity toward the Reds here. Good ownership group with a young core of talented guys. Bengals have players that are easy to root for. They are just young and inconsistent. Ownership with the Bengals however, I wouldn't give a dime.

They are just young and inconsistent. Ownership with the Bengals however, I wouldn't give a dime. I guess I just have no use for professional sports and what they have become. But then again I'm still a fan of Marge Schott and how she ran things. Attached is what I have against the Reds and a photo of your kids' role model Bronson Arroyo this weekend at Redsfest. I'm sure he was over your Reds loss and probably stoned out of his mind by 9 O'Clock the night of their elimination by the Giants. Sorry, but I consider pro sports fans sheep, but I guess I'm in the minority. Different topic for a different thread.

If the Bengals did run more and get stuffed and had three and outs and more than two punts because it. People would then say why did you get so conservative and playing not to lose. When the Bengals lose it wouldn't matter what they did it still would be wrong. Perhaps, but I'm not those people. Before they lost I could feel the loss coming on because of the approach they were relying on. Sure, normally their passing game is solid and things might've been different without the dropped balls, but as exciting as their passing game might be, it just wasn't the right move at this time in the game, and that's what I was feeling even before the eventual outcome. Certainly it's not 100% scientific, and a running game might not have worked either, but I hold solid that it should've been given a try. To me it showed lack of confidence the Bengals have for their running back who has shown pretty well that he's reliable. I can certainly see where this topic can be of a splitting hair nature, but if I'm the coach, at this point in the game, my strategy is to attempt to hang on to the ball for as long as possible. I just bet that the coaching staff lost sleep last night wondering what might have been if they had done so.
December 10, 201213 yr How does The Law Firm only have five carries in the first half? Shame to throw the game away, especially with the Steelers loss.
December 10, 201213 yr Any chance Josh Brown unseats Nugent. 4 FGS and multiple touchbacks. He looked pretty good. I hope so. Nugent has been terrible since the Miami game.
